binga_4980 asked: I have had acute low back pain for the last 36 hours. I have been to the Urgent Care center immediteley after the injury and was in the ER about 12 hours ago. At both visits I was given a shot of Toradol which took away about 20% of the pain for two hours. I was sent home with Vicodin, Naprosyn and a Muscle Relaxer. I have taken all medications within their prescribed limits and recieved minimal releif. The sedative effect of the medication enabled me to sleep for 3 hours and I have woken up with intractable pain and am several hours away from any medication being due.
I need some releif. Is it okay to go to the chiropractor in this acute state or would he do more harm than good?
