Hello, I just had twin boys on monday June 30th. They were 9 weeks early and are currently in the nicu. I am pumping breast milk for them. I am having really bad back pain that is interfering with my sleep so i contacted my midwife thursday at 1 am and she was supposed to send a prescription in and never did..i called again mid afternoon and never got a call back..last night i was so desperate to sleep i took a pill called flexeril and didn’t think nothing of it until my husband mentioned it could be in the breast milk and now i’m really scared to give them my milk not knowing if it will harm them in any way. I only took 1 10 mg. could it hurt them? how long until it’s out of my system? please someone help..i’ve contacted the lactation specialist and i’m waiting for her to call but am trying to get some other answers in the meantime. thanks in advance.
