Butalbital APAP, Fioricet, Tramadol
Angel,
The answer is: YES! Get her an ambulance or a taxi. She needs to see a doctor immediately as this could be quite serious. The biggest concern here is the trouble she is having in taking in breaths, this can be a lung or heart issue but there is no way for any of us to tell through the internet. Get her to the hospital for a proper medical evaluation now! Good luck!

Absolutely call an ambulance. She needs to be assessed straight away. If it hurts when she breathes, it could be serious.
Muscle-relaxer
I suspect your mum just pulled some muscles when getting dressed (or during her sleep) but since I’m not a doctor if someone says this could be something more serious please listen to them
If you have any questions about this exercise please contact me and I’ll try to explain the steps in more details.
So, unless someone else says it’s urgent to go to the hospital try helping her with this:
- muscles need warmth when they hurt so if you don’t have a hot water bottle put a towel into a microwave for a few minutes (make sure you don’t burn it there!!!!!!) and then put it on a spot where it hurts her the most (again, don’t burn your mum now for a change!)
- then after about 10 minutes ask her to do the following exercise (it’ve very hard to explain so please bear with me):
1, she should take her right arm a front of her (stretched out) and bend it 90 degrees up so that her hand and fingers aim upwards (basically think about posh people before they start waving goodbye to someone)
2, then ask her to move the elbow of the bent arm so that it is now directly a front of your mum’s face (she should now start to feel a stretch below her shoulder blade)
3, to extend that stretch, ask your mum to put her other arm (left) beneath the right elbow so that her left hand is basically near her right shoulder and her left elbow is directly beneath the right shoulder
4, her aim is to touch her hand and fingers with her left hand, where her left arm is wrapper around her right arm and make a slight moves up and down
5, until she can make these slight moves she should keep her right arm in the exact position as per steps 1 & 2 and even then the moves should only be up and down
During this exercise she’ll feel a real pull (which should be a great relief for her) under her right shoulder blade. After couple of minutes (or whatever feels good for her) ask her to switch her arms so that she can exercise her left shoulder blade. It’s important to switch even if she has no pain under her left should blade.
I found this exercise somewhere ages ago and it has helped me tremendously. It’s great for a prevention or RSI.
Hope your mum feels better soon.

I was having sharp pains in the same place. This is just a suggestion, ok? I looked in all my medical books and it pointed to gall bladder problems for me. I went to the doctor and told him what I thought, he did some tests and sure enough it was. I had gall stones and had my gall bladder removed and now the pain is gone. I am sure glad I don’t have that to worry about any longer. I am 56 if that makes a difference. I sure hope your mother gets better.

It could possibly be gallstones as they can be very, very painful especially if one gets stuck in the bile duct.
It wouldn’t hurt to check her into an emergency room for x-rays, etc.
Every little thing is 100 % free, great gentleman. Gratitude so considerably for publishing this material for us to look over.
