    Butalbital APAP, Fioricet, Tramadol

fill a gym sock with dry rice (yes white cooking rice)
    tie off end
    microwave for 1 min
    check to touch
    apply to sore area
    re-heat as required

don’t throw it away!! You’ll find uses, sore muscles, etc. for months

    Taking Fioricet

Acupuncture and massage are both quite helpful with this. Sometimes chiropractic can be of use, as well. If the problem is not the result of a bone growth disorder that permanently misaligns the jaws, the combination of the three can often get rid of the problem entirely.

I have experienced TMJ, and it is NO FUN.

I hope you get good relief, and soon!

Here’s some tips you might find useful:

When you are experiencing pain which you suspect to be in your TMJ, try using one of the natural remedies for TMJ disorder.

    1. If you must eat, make it soft

Ease up the pressure when you eat by eating only soft foods that do not require too much pressure on the TMJ.

    2. Warm up your TMJ

Heat does wonders for the pain of a TMJ disorder, especially if muscle spasms occur. Twice per day until your pain disappears is sound advice.

    3. If you must yawn, manage it

Yawning, while a pleasurable activity, can also trigger or aggravate a TMJ episode. Natural remedies for TMJ include controlling the extension of the mandible during a yawn.

    4. Give your Jaw a Rest!

Don’t talk too much. Chewing gum and chronic teeth gnashing and jaw clenching are no-no’s.

    5. Put your pillow to good use

One good way to remove the pressure from your TMJ is to lay the affected part on a firm pillow. While you are at it, you might as well get some sleep.
